Modify or Extend Reservation Dates

There are times when you need to modify or extend a reservation date. This could be due to a guest wanting to extend their stay or if you need to adjust the reservation dates for maintenance or other reasons.

There are two ways to extend or modify a reservation date. You can either make the changes to the date from within the reservation panel when editing the reservation or from the timeline.

Modifying a Reservations Arrival or Departure Date

To modify a reservation date from the reservation panel follow these steps:

  1. Go to the reservation panel.

  2. Edit the reservation you would like to modify by clicking on it twice or by clicking on the Edit icon located at the beginning of the reservation row.

  3. Now with the reservation that you want to modify selected click on the Edit icon located to the right of the Arrival or Departure date.

  4. This will open up the date picker where you can select the new arrival or departure date for the reservation.

  5. Once the new date are selected click on the Save button to save the changes. The reservation will automatically recalculate the pricing based on the new date. If you need to override the pricing you can do so by clicking on the Override Pricing button.

Extending a Reservations Dates from the Timeline

To extend a reservation date from the reservation timeline follow these steps:

  1. Go to the timeline also known as the Calendar View

  2. Click on the Edit icon located in the top left corner of the timeline. This will allow you to move reservations onto different lots and adjust the dates of the reservation.

  3. Now click on the reservation you would like to extend. You will see a Move icon appear to the left of the reservation. With your mouse click and hold on the Move icon and drag the reservation to the new date. Note: using the same method you can also move the reservation to a different lot.

  4. You can also extend the reservation by clicking on the Extend icon located to the right of the reservation. This will allow you to extend the reservation by dragging the end of the reservation to the new date.

  5. The reservation will automatically recalculate the pricing based on the new date and will snap into place using the same arrival and departure times as the original reservation.
