Google Analytics Overview¶

How are Google Analytics Events Collected¶
PitchCamp uses Google Events to track user interactions with the online booking page. These events are sent to your Google Analytics account and are used to gain insights into user behavior and track the performance of your online booking page.

What are Google Analytics Events¶
PitchCamp tracks the following events in Google Analytics events. These events are triggered when a user interacts with the online booking page and can be used to gain insights into user behavior and track the performance of your online booking page.
The following events can be found in the Google Analytics Events section under the Ecommerce section and or under the Events section.
- Item Viewed: item_viewed
- Added to Cart: added_to_cart
- Begin Checkout: begin_checkout
- Purchase: purchase
Item Viewed¶
This event is triggered when a user views a listing on the online booking page.
Added to Cart¶
This event is triggered when a user adds a listing to their cart.
Begin Checkout¶
This event is triggered when a user begins the checkout process.
Purchase¶
This event is triggered when a user completes the booking process and completes the reservations.
