Stripe Terminal Configuration

The stripe terminal configuration is needed before we can start using the stripe terminal. The configuration includes setting up the terminal hardware, connecting the terminal to the campground's Wi-Fi network, and adding the terminal to our campgrounds location.

Stripe Terminal Hardware

Before we can start using the stripe terminal, we need to set up the terminal hardware.

• Make sure the terminal is fully charged.
• Connect the terminal to the campground's Wi-Fi network.
• Add the terminal to the campground's location.

Connecting the Terminal to the Wi-Fi Network

To connect the terminal to the campground's Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

• Turn on the terminal by pressing the power button.
• Select the Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.
• Wait for the terminal to connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Adding the Terminal Location

Before we can start using the stripe terminal, we need to add the terminal to the campground's location. Note: The terminal can only be added to one location at a time and has to be linked to the campground's physical address.

To add the terminal to the campground's location, follow these steps:

- Go to the Stripe Terminal from the menu Admin -> Campground Settings -> Stripe Terminal. - Click on the Add New Location button. - Enter the campground's physical address. - Click Save to save the changes.

One you've added a location you can then add the terminal to the location by clicking on the Add Terminal button. This will link the terminal to the campground's physical address and allow you to start using the terminal to process payments.

Adding the Terminal to the Location

Note: The terminal can only be added to one location at a time and has to be linked to the campground's physical address. Make sure you have added your campgrounds location before adding the terminal to the location.

To add the terminal to the campground's location, follow these steps:

• Go to the Stripe Terminal from the menu Admin -> Campground Settings -> Stripe Terminal.
• Click on the Register New Reader button located under the location you want to add the terminal to.
• Then enter a Terminal Reader Name. This will be the name of the terminal that will be displayed in the terminal list.
• Enter the terminal readers registration code. This code is unique to each terminal and is used to link the terminal to the campground's location. To display the registration code follow these steps:
  • Turn on the terminal by pressing the power button.
  • Swipe right on the terminal screen to access the main menu.
  • Enter 07139 to display the menu.
  • Click on Generate pairing code.
  • Enter the pairing code in the registration code field.
• Click Save to save the changes.

Once you've added the terminal to the location you can start using the terminal to process payments.
